Old Ladies Against Underwater Garbage shows how determination and a love for clean water knows no age."\n\n\n\nSince 2017\, this fearless team of swimmers\, ages 65 to 85\, has been cleaning ponds across Cape Cod from Falmouth to Chatham. Moving through the shallows and diving for beer cans\, golf balls\, fishing lures\, waterlogged dog toys\, jackets\, shoes\, and occasionally a tire\, cell phone\, or even a box of spent fireworks\, they leave no trash behind. Everything recovered is passed to the Garbage Collector\, paddling alongside in a kayak or canoe.
