DESCRIPTION:Tue\, Oct 29\, 11:30 am-4:30pm. Go 3D with Wet Felting in this exciting one-day workshop with artist Susan Fox Mitrano! Create a lovely vessel or bowl using colorful wool roving\, yarn\, and pieces of shimmery viscose! Through the wet felting process\, we will turn light and fluffy wool into beautiful and sturdy felt shaped vessels. Learn how the felting process originated and the many ways people around the world work with and use felt! You can even customize your vessel shape. I'll also show you how to add decorative elements to your interior/exterior surfaces. Inspiration and samples will be provided to spark your creativity! Quality Merino wool and all supplies are included in the fee. Participants are also welcome to bring additional bits of 100% natural yarn/fiber to include in their artwork.
