Mastering Glazing Workshop with Rebecca Matarazzi

For the hand building or wheel throwing student who wants to master their glazing techniques and become more confident in the glaze lab, this hands-on workshop starts with the proper prep work before the application of glaze by dipping, pouring, and brushing. We will start with the importance of getting the correct thickness of glaze materials used for each application method. We will go over how to layer combinations of different glazes together as well as the use of wax to isolate areas of the piece in the glazing process.
