Fri, May 30, 5-7pm. “Don’t Need a Weather Man,” an exhibition of new paintings by Yarmouth artist Barry Margolin, is inspired by his work as a climate activist. He calls it narrative abstraction: using the language of abstract painting to evoke the real threats we are facing from rising seas, searing heat, and ferocious storms. Net proceeds of Margolin’s exhibit will be donated to Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod. Margolin explains that “Habitat Cape Cod is leading the way nationally in building homes for families in need that rely entirely on clean energy. While addressing the critical need for affordable housing on the Cape, Habitat is also on the front line of the shift to a zero-carbon economy.” Also on display is the Artists and Collectors Salon exhibition, featuring work by the 25 talented artists participating in “Artists and Collectors Dinner 2025: Botanica,” the Center's annual signature event celebrating art, connection, and community.
