On October 26 from 11 AM - 4 PM the Osterville Village Library will be hosting an event called the Human Library. At the event, attendees will be able to check out living 'books' for 30-minute conversations to listen to their unique story and particular perspective on life, ask questions, and engage in conversation. Difficult questions are expected, appreciated, and answered. This event aims to ignite dialogue and understanding between people by creating a safe space to have conversations about prejudice and discrimination. We want to break down barriers based on stereotypes. The Human Library provides the opportunity for our community to share and understand the experiences of others?—we hope you'll join us! Interested in applying to be a 'book'? Do you defy a stereotype? Do you have valuable experiences that people could benefit from learning about? Are you motivated to help challenge stigma and stereotypes in our community? Then please apply at this link!: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7NCNPLW
