Save Our Sound's A Celebration of Nantucket Sound (ACONS) webinar series continues with guest speaker Patrick Cassidy. Patrick has been fishing the waters around Cape Cod for over 30 years. He is the owner of New England Maritime, which has provided Coast Guard - and state-approved boating safety, launch tender and captains courses and testing for more than 30 years. Patrick also owns and operates Cape Cod on the Fly, a for-hire fly fishing guide service. For this webinar, Patrick will discuss the unique challenges of boating in and around Nantucket Sound, including currents, weather and other navigational hazards. He will describe common interactions between vessels on local waters, and best practices for operating safely.
