Cape Cod, jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean, is a dynamic and complex geophysical environment. Join Cape Cod Cooperative Extension’s Coastal Processes and Hazards Specialist, Bryan McCormack, and Coastal Resilience Specialist, Shelly McComb, to learn more about the history, science, and future of erosion on the Cape. Bryan will begin at the ice age and take us through sediment transport, storms, and tides over the years. You’ll then hear from Shelly about what these processes mean for climate change adaptation and community resilience. We hope to see you there! This program will be on Saturday November 9th at 1pm in the Main Meeting Room at the Osterville Village Library.
