Introduction to Songwriting for Teens, with Gabriella Simpkins

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod at our HyArts Programming Annex on four Tuesdays, beginning May 7, from 3-4:30pm. Taught by musician and songwriter Gabriella Simpkins, this course will explore basic forms and techniques of songwriting and encourage participants to grow their artistic voices. Through writing and listening exercises, participants will learn how to communicate their musical and lyrical ideas effectively, and the class will conclude with presentations of original songs. $70/$60 for members.
