Tue, Nov 12, 1-330pm. The ancient art of quilling, also known as paper filigree, uses narrow strips of paper, which are rolled, shaped, and then glued together to form designs. In this make & take workshop with artist Mary Jane Xenakis, students will learn to make the basic shapes needed to create a winter-themed greeting card, as demonstrated in class. Materials fee is included in tuition, which covers all materials used in class. The instructor will have tools and materials for purchase for those who would like to continue quilling at home. $50.
