Restoring the Charles River Watershed

He has been a long-time advocate for Indigenous rights and the environmental movement. As a cultural educator, Hartman has worked with the Wampanoag Language Reclamation Project, Plimoth Plantation, and the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Museum.
