Tues, Aug 26, 10-2. Discover the Magic of Needle Felting! Needle felting is one of the most magical, rewarding hobbies you’ll ever try! It’s easy to learn, doesn’t require much space or equipment, and the creative possibilities are endless. With just a special barbed needle, a felting pad, and some lovely wool, you’ll be amazed at how quickly your imagination begins to take shape — literally! In this fun and convivial class with artist Leone Simkins, we’ll begin with the basics: simple techniques, core shapes, and a bit of felting “magic.” Then, we’ll dive into our first project — a charming Cape Cod seagull perched on a dock piling or piece of driftwood. Whether you're completely new to needle felting or looking to refresh your skills, this fun and relaxing workshop will set you up for a whole season of creativity. If you can dream it, you can stab it into being! Grab a seat at the table and come see what your hands (and a little wool) can do.
