'The DA and Us' presented by the District Attorney of the Cape and Islands

District Attorney Rob Galbois believes in order to pursue its core mission to promote public safety, the office needs to be integrated with the community it serves. Our Community Engagement Officer is tasked with organizing and running our "The DA and Us Program". This program, which launched in early 2024, will organize small groups of people from each of the towns across the Cape and the Islands to meet with the Community Engagement Officer on a periodic basis to discuss important topics unique to each community. The Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office recognizes that Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket Counties encompass twenty-three individual towns, all of whom have needs that differ in some ways from their neighboring communities. To make sure that our office is providing the support necessary to meet those needs, we are calling on members of the community who would want to be involved in these town-based coalitions to join us and be proactive in accomplishing necessary change in our hometown.
